Blues looking for six straight W’s
ST. LOUIS, MO (TheSpread) – The St. Louis Blues look for a sixth consecutive win tonight when they host an old rival, the Detroit Red Wings, at 8PM ET.
St. Louis is 27-13-3 on the season and 16-4-1 at home while Detroit is 23-11-9 overall and 10-7-3 on the road. The road team has won five straight in this series and the two have hit the under in their last three meetings. This will be the first game between the two this season.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Blues are favored at home tonight, as St. Louis is getting odds of -165 to win this game. The Red Wings have been given odds of +145 to win on the road, while the over/under total has been set at 5.5 goals.
St. Louis has won five straight overall and their last four games at home. The Blues have also won their last five when given a money line of -160 or greater. The Blues have pushed or hit the over in seven straight as well. Detroit is in the midst of a lengthy road trip, going 3-2 thus far. The Wings are just 1-4 in their last five games as an underdog and they have hit the under in five of their last six.
