The Chicago Sun-Times reports that a minimum of five teams have inquired to the Blackhawks about the availability of Patrick Kane.

Kane is currently under investigation for an incident that allegedly took place at his residence in early August. The star player is being accused of raping a woman, although no charges have been pressed.

Kane is entering the first year of a record-setting eight-year, $84 million contract. Sources told the Sun-Times that the Blackhawks “sternly warned” Kane not to put himself in any more bad situations. While there hasn’t been any firm indications that the Hawks are willing to part with the 26-year-old, perhaps Chicago will want to wash its hands of Kane at some point before the start of next season.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Blackhawks have +745 odds to win the 2016 Stanley Cup
