INJURY TO WATCH

Avalanche right winger Sven Andrighetto (lower body), goaltender Jonathan Bernier (infection) and center Colin Wilson (lower body) are both questionable tonight. Goalie Andrew Hammond (brain injury) and defenseman Mark Barberio (lower body) are both out indefinitely. For the Golden Knights, right winger Reilly Smith (shoulder) is questionable. Center Oscar Lindberg (brain injury), left winger William Carter (shoulder) and defenseman Clayton Stoner (abdominal) are all out indefinitely. Defenseman Lucas Sbisa (hand) are all out indefinitely.

BETTING STRATEGY

The first meeting this season all the way back in October was won 7-0 by the Golden Knights on their home ice. Defense was more of the story the second meeting in Colorado only two days ago as the Avs won 2-1 in a shootout. The Las Vegas offense has struggled the last two games as they have scored one goal in each of the two losses. It’s difficult to hold the Golden Knights down for long, so expect a much better output tonight. As for Colorado, it has scored at least five goals in four of the last eight games but have also struggled offensively the last two contests. This game has the makings of a shootout as both offenses get back on track.
