Bruins Sign D
Boston, MA – The Boston Bruins have signed former Toronto and St. Louis defenseman Andy Wozniewski.
The Bruins announced Wednesday that Wozniewski had signed a one-year contract. He played 48 games for the Maple Leafs during the 2007-08 season and one game for the Blues in 2008-09.
Wozniewski divided almost all of last season between the St. Louis and Pittsburgh organizations, totaling three goals, 18 assists and 82 penalty minutes in 74 minor league games.
