Monday’s NHL Playoff Odds
(TheSpread) – The 2012 NHL Playoffs have two games on the schedule for Monday. Here is a look at the odds for both contests taking place.
The first game on the night is in the Eastern Conference with No. 1 New York hosting No. 7 Washington at 7:30PM ET. The series is tied at 2-2, and the Rangers are favored to win Game 5, as oddsmakers have given them a money line of -150, while the Capitals have odds of +130 to win. The over/under total has been set at 4.5 goals. New York is 30-14-3 at home while Washington is 20-22-5 on the road. These two teams have traded wins in their last nine games, with Washington winning the last contest, 3-2.
The second game on the night is in the Western Conference as No. 3 Phoenix looks to closer out No. 4 Nashville at 10PM ET. The Coyotes have a 3-1 lead in the series, but oddsmakers have them as even with Nashville, as both teams have money lines of -110 to win. The over/under total has been set at 5 goals. Nashville is 24-17-4 on the road while Phoenix is 25-13-8 at home. The road team has won seven of the last 10 games in this series.
