Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com currently list the Bruins as –151 money line favorites over the visiting Lightning, who are +139 for tonight’s Game 7. The over/under total is currently sitting at 5.5 points for this contest, which will begin at 8:00PM ET.

The Lightning pushed a Game 7 on Wednesday night with their 5-4 victory at home over the Bruins. In that game, Teddy Purcell and Martin St. Louis each scored two goals apiece, while center Steven Stamkos finished with one goal and two assists to rack up a team-high three points on the night.

For the Bruins, David Krejci had himself quite a game, scoring three of the team’s four goals. The other score came off the stick of Milan Lucic, who also had an assist to net him three points on the night. Goaltender Tim Thomas struggled, however, saving just 21 of the 26 shots he faced.

NHL Free Pick: I counted the Lightning dead on Wednesday and now I’m back to not only eat crow, but to also make a case for their upset bid tonight. According to latest NHL trends, the Lightning are 7-2 in their last nine games as an underdog and 7-2 in their last nine games following a win. They’re also 10-3 in their last 13 games overall and 6-2 in their last eight road games. I think they’ll use the momentum they gained from their victory on Wednesday night to propel them to another win this evening.
