The Chicago Blackhawks advanced to the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals on Sunday by completing a sweep of the San Jose Sharks.

Chicago will be playing for the NHL title for the first time since 1992 with the sweep of San Jose.
According to oddsmakers from Online Sportsbook Sportsbook.com, Chicago had 2/1 odds to win the Western Conference, meaning a $100 bet on Chicago will pay out $200.
The Blackhawks opened the playoffs with a 4-2 series win over Nashville and then followed up with a 4-2 series win over Vancouver in the conference semifinals.
Against San Jose, Chicago dominated from the start, winning two games in San Jose by scores of 2-1 and 4-2. The key game in the series was a 3-2 overtime win at home in game three, which made way for Sunday’s 4-2 win in game four to close out the series.
Chicago will face the winner of the Montreal-Philadelphia series in the Stanley Cup Finals.
