What are the best prop bets to wager on when it comes to how Brady will perform in Super Bowl 51? We’ve highlighted a few below.
Tom Brady OVER 310.5 Passing Yards
Brady actually averaged under 300 passing yards per game during the regular season (296.17 to be exact), but we like him to go over that number tonight. In fact, we project that Brady will throw for nearly 330 passing yards against a Falcons defense that starts a rookie strong safety in Keanu Neal, as well as a first-year starter in Jalen Collins, who is playing in only his second NFL season.
Tom Brady OVER 25.5 Pass Completions
This one will be close but Brady may have to put the ball in the air a lot if the Patriots are going to keep pace with the Falcons’ high-scoring offense. Granted, the Pats could decide to pound the ball on the ground with running back LeGarrette Blount, but at some point Brady will need to put the ball in the air as well. The Patriots like to use their short passing game as an extension of the run, so look for Brady to complete plenty of short passes and eventually go over his total.
Tom Brady OVER 38.5 Pass Attempts
Well, since we like Brady to go over 25.5 pass completions he’s not going to get there if he doesn’t attempt nearly 40 passes. If this turns into the shootout that Vegas believes, then Brady and Ryan should both put the ball in the air plenty.
