Peyton Manning 2012-13 Prop Odds
(The Spread) – Which team will Peyton Manning play for in his first NFL regular season game for the 2012-13 season?
When the odds for this prop wager were first released back in early February, the Cardinals were +200 favorites to land Manning, while the Redskins were +250, the Dolphins were +300, the Jets were +350 and the Colts were +700.
But things have changed.
The Dolphins are now the favorites to have Manning under center for the 2012-13 season at +225 odds. The Colts have the next best odds at +250 while the Jets are +350. The Chiefs are +400, the Redskins are +500, the Texans are +600 and the 49ers and Cardinals are +800, respectively. The Seahawks are a mid-range long shot at +1500.

The long shots include the Cowboys (+2500), Broncos (+2500), Ravens (+5000), Patriots (+10000) and Giants (+10000). All of these teams outside of the Broncos with Tebow Tebow, are set at quarterback and aren’t likely to inquire about Manning’s services.
At least one online sports book has received significant action from bettors backing the Chiefs as the team to land Manning this offseason. Manning, who apparently is throwing “much, much better” according to Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star, has been linked to the Chiefs in recent weeks. In fact, Kansas City head coach Romeo Crennel said that the Chiefs would be “crazy” not to consider signing Manning if he becomes available this offseason.
