Week 12 NFL Survivor Pool Picks 11/21/17

Week 12 NFL Survivor Pool Picks

Need help making your selection of your NFL survivor pool? As we do every Tuesday, here are three options for Week 12 to help push you deeper into your NFL survivor pool.

How we did last week: Chances are if you’re reading this, you had already used the Kansas City Chiefs and used one of our other two selections. If you did use the Chiefs and are still reading this, then you’re looking for an apology. We’re sorry. Ten point road favorite that lost outright. Yiiikes.

That said, if you used the Chiefs and went with either the Jaguars or Chargers, you’re welcome. Jacksonville won not-so-comfortably in Cleveland and Los Angeles won very comfortable at home versus Buffalo.

Here are our three choices for Week 12 and remember, we’re trying to think of teams that probably weren’t used in the first 11 weeks. If you haven’t used the Patriots, Steelers or Falcons, by all means, burn them this week. They’re all good options. But keep in mind we’re digging deep here.

Bet NFL Week 12 Games

Option 1: Baltimore Ravens

Chances are you haven’t used the Ravens yet because they’ve scared the hell out of you with their play through 10 weeks. That’s fair. Joe Flacco has been one of the worst quarterbacks in the league but Baltimore’s defense has been excellent. They’re coming off a shutout of Brett Hundley and the Packers last week and now the Ravens will take on Tom Savage when the Texans come to Baltimore on Monday night. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Ravens are a 7-point home favorite for their game versus the Texans and are a solid straight up play in survivor pools.

Option 2: Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals have been inconsistent all season long but they’ve turned things around of late. They’re coming off back-to-back covers against the Titans (in a loss) and Broncos (in a win), with both ATS wins coming on the road. Now they return home to host a Browns team that is 0-10 and headed for the No. 1 overall pick. If DeShone Kizer was better a week ago against Jacksonville after showing some promise in a loss to Detroit the week before, maybe I’d be more hesitant recommending Cincinnati. But as an 8-point home favorite coming off a nice road win, the Bengals are a safe play.

Option 3: Carolina Panthers

You may have already used the Panthers but if not, I’ll keep this brief: They’re coming off a bye, they’re playing a competitive yet 4-6 team, and their best football is still ahead of them. Cam Newton and Co. lost in Chicago earlier this year so they’re not without their flaws, but I like them as the third option to win straight up as a 4.5-point favorite.
