Washington Football Team DFS Spin

Alex Smith completed 17-of-25 passes for 166 yards, a touchdown, and an interception in Washington’s 20-9 Week 11 win against the Bengals. Smith wasn’t asked to do much and he obliged. Unlike the past two games, Washington had positive game script throughout this one — in part because the Bengals offense became a non-factor after Joe Burrow was carted off with a knee injury. Such is the risk of streaming Smith. His lone touchdown toss was to Steve Sims, Jr., who has inched his way toward WR3 status in recent weeks. Smith will again be a streaming option in Week 12 against the Cowboys.

Dallas Cowboys DFS Spin

Andy Dalton completed 22-of-32 passes for 203 yards, three touchdowns, and one pick in Dallas’ 31-28 Week 11 win over the Vikings. The Cowboys shifted All-Pro RG Zack Martin to right tackle and Joe Looney to center in place of rookie Tyler Biadisz (injured reserve), which ultimately limited the amount of pressure (11.1%) and sacks (1) Dalton had become accustomed to prior to injury. With ample time to observe the field, Dalton targeted Ezekiel Elliott from inside the 10-yard line to get the Cowboys on the board first and later CeeDee Lamb (4/34/1) for a circus-like touchdown as the rookie was falling flat onto his back. Dalton also orchestrated an 11-play, 66-yard drive with 10-yard passes to Michael Gallup, Amari Cooper, and Dalton Schultz on Dallas’ final possesion before finding the latter for the game-winning two-yard touchdown with 1:27 remaining. The Cowboys now enter Week 12 at 3-7 and in a three-way tie for second place in the NFC East. Thursday’s showdown against Washington will move the winner into sole possession of second place behind the 3-6-1 Eagles.

Washington vs. Cowboys Betting Prediction

The over is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams and has cashed in five straight meetings when the game is played in Dallas. The over is also 22-8 in the Cowboys’ last 30 home games versus a team with a losing road record, is 5-2 in their last seven home games and has cashed in four of Dallas’ last five games as a home favorite.
