Updated 2016 Super Bowl Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – Following a hectic start to free agency, let’s take a look at updated 2016 Super Bowl odds for all 32 NFL teams.
The Seahawks pulled off one of the bigger surprises in the first week of free agency by trading center Max Unger and their first-round pick 2015 to the Saints for play-making tight end Jimmy Graham. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Seahawks are 6/1 favorites to win the 2016 Super Bowl while the Saints are 33/1 long shots.
In another shocking trade that occurred on that same Tuesday Seattle acquired Graham, the Eagles traded quarterback Nick Foles and other draft compensation to the Rams for Sam Bradford. Along with trading LeSean McCoy to the Bills for linebacker Kiko Alonso as well as signing free agents DeMarco Murray, Byron Maxwell and Ryan Mathews, the Eagles are now 18/1 to win next year’s Super Bowl. The Rams, meanwhile, are 40/1 long shots.
The Dolphins have made several splashes in free agency, none bigger than signing defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to a massive $114 million contract. The team also traded linebacker Dannell Ellerbe and a 2015 third-round pick to the Saints in exchange for wide receiver Kenny Stills, and dealt former big-money free agent Mike Wallace and a seventh-round pick to the Vikings for a 2015 fifth-round pick. Miami is now 33/1 to win the Super Bowl.
