Pittsburgh Steelers DFS Spin
Diontae Johnson (toe) returned to Steelers practice on Thursday, getting in a “full” session. The Steelers will probably ration Johnson’s practice reps for the remainder of the season following his variety of early-year ailments. The Ravens are a tough Week 8 matchup, but Johnson draws 10-plus targets every time he’s healthy. He’s a locked-in, if low-end, WR2.
Baltimore Ravens DFS Spin
Ravens RB Mark Ingram (ankle) is doubtful for Week 8 against the Steelers. Ingram had almost no chance to suit up against Pittsburgh after missing practice all week with an ankle injury he suffered before the team’s Week 7 bye week. The Ravens committing to explosive rookie J.K. Dobbins coming off the bye would make some sense, but fantasy players should be aware Dobbins had played well behind Gus Edwards of late. From Week 4-6, Edwards out-carried Dobbins 30 to 15. Dobbins leads all Baltimore backs with 14 targets on the season. Both Edwards and Dobbins are RB3 candidates with a wide range of outcomes for Week 8.
Steelers vs. Ravens Betting Prediction
The under is 5-1 in the last six meetings between these two teams in Baltimore, is 18-7-1 in the Steelers’ last 26 conference games and is 39-12-1 in their last 52 road games.
