Seahawks’ 2015-16 Season Odds
SEATTLE, WA (The Spread) – The Seahawks have made back-to-back Super Bowls and unsurprisingly, oddsmakers have set Seattle’s 2015 win total in the double digits.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Seahawks’ win total for the 2015 regular season has been set at 11. They’re also 13/2 to win the 2016 Super Bowl, 7/2 to win the NFC Conference Championship and 2/5 to win the NFC West Division.
The Seahawks added one of the premier playmakers in the NFL when they acquired tight end Jimmy Graham from the Saints in exchange for their first-round pick and center Max Unger. They also signed defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin and cornerbacks Cary Williams and Will Blackmon.
The addition of Graham gives quarterback Russell Wilson a legit option in the red-zone and his presence means opponents won’t always be able to commit extra defenders in the box to slow down Marshawn Lynch. Of course, Pete Carroll’s team will once again rely on an outstanding defense led by Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman and Bobby Wagner. Assuming this team doesn’t suffer significant injuries the Hawks should rack up double-digit wins for the fourth consecutive season.
