NFL Week 4, Regular Season
Seattle Seahawks DFS Spin
Russell Wilson completed 27-of-40 passes for 315 yards and five touchdowns in the Seahawks’ Week 3 win over the Cowboys. Wilson’s 14 touchdowns through three games are the most in NFL history. The Seahawks’ offensive transformation is the story of the NFL season, as they’ve gone from a run-based attack to one that relies on letting Russ cook. Now that we’ve seen the offense pass at this volume for three straight weeks, we can assume that it’s here to stay. That makes the Seahawks Super Bowl contenders and Wilson a QB1 overall contender for fantasy. Wilson will carve up the Dolphins and Vikings over the next two weeks. Buckle up.
Miami Dolphins DFS Spin
Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 18-of-20 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns in the Dolphins’ 31-13, Week 3 win over the Jaguars, adding seven rushes for 38 yards and a touchdown. Making like Josh Allen Sr., Fitzpatrick stunned and eviscerated the Jaguars in the first half, entering the break 12-of-14 for 127 yards and both his scores. He was quieter after halftime, though he did add a one-year rushing touchdown out of an empty set on 3rd-and-goal. His passing scores were a three-yarder to Preston Williams and a 15-yarder where he put Mike Gesicki in position to high point the ball. FitzMagic was almost illegally wily as he led the ‘Fins to their first win of 2020. Fitz will be a top 15 or 16 option for Week 4 against a Seahawks pass defense that has given up historic levels of production through the first two games of the season.
Seahawks vs. Dolphins Betting Prediction
The Seahawks are 1-6 against the spread in their last seven meetings with the Dolphins while the underdog has cashed in four of the last four meetings between these two teams overall. The Dolphins are also 5-1 against the number in their last six games as a home underdog, are 5-1 against the spread in their last six home games and have covered in four of their last five games overall. Russ might get the Seahawks to 4-0 but I think it’s going to be tougher than most expect.
