Talib being investigated for assault
DALLAS, TX (The Spread) – Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib is reportedly being investigated for assault.
WFAA Dallas reports that Talib is being investigated for aggravated assault after an altercation at a Dallas-area nightclub early Wednesday morning. Talib’s brother is reportedly also part of the investigation, which is being conducted by the Dallas Police Department.
Talib signed a six-year, $57 million contract with the Broncos in March of 2014. He finished the season with 64 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and four interceptions as Denver was knocked out of the Divisional Round of the playoffs by the Indianapolis Colts.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Broncos are 12/1 to win the 2016 Super Bowl.
