Will Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen both have big rushing days when the Bills host the Ravens in the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs? Read on for our Ravens vs. Bills Same Game Parlay prediction ahead of tonight’s 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff.
NFL Divisional Round SGP Recap
I missed my Commanders-Lions SGP by one leg. More specifically, I missed by three points. I had Jayden Daniels over 1.5 passing touchdowns and Jared Goff over 274.5 passing yards. But I coupled those plays with the Lions over 33.5 points. The Lions were inside the red zone with under a minute remaining, but Goff wanted to cap off his horrendous night with one more interception, so I fell one leg shy.
As for my Texans-Chiefs SGP, I had Travis Kelce over 5.5 receptions, Xavier Worthy over 60.5 rushing and receiving yards and John Metchie III over 3.5 receptions. Kelce finished with seven receptions, but Metchie only had two receptions and Worthy had just 37 total yards.
Ravens vs. Bills Same Game Parlay: Lamar Jackson under 217.5 Passing Yards
According to Sharp Football Analysis, Lamar has faced a Sean McDermott-led defense four times in his career. In those four games, he never threw for more than 162 yards. That includes the first meeting between these two teams, in which the Ravens won 35-10. In that game, Jackson was 13-of-18 for just 156 yards. He tossed two touchdown passes and rushed for 54 yards and another score. Thus, it’s not as if Jackson wasn’t effective against the Bills, he just didn’t throw for a ton of yardage.
Ravens vs. Bills Same Game Parlay: Lamar Jackson over 54.5 Rushing Yards
While Lamar hasn’t done much damage against McDermott and the Bills through the air, he does have a propensity to run more in the playoffs. Last week against the Steelers in the Wildcard round, Jackson ran the ball 15 times. The only time he topped that number this season came in Week 1. He has rushed for at least 54 yards in six of his seven postseason appearances and as previously noted, he gained 54 yards versus the Bills earlier this season.
With Zay Flowers out again today, the Ravens are missing one of their key weapons in the passing game. That should limit what Jackson does through the air and force him to take off more on the ground.
Ravens vs. Bills Same Game Parlay: Josh Allen over 47.5 rushing yards (-110)
Allen had one of his worst games of the regular season when these two teams met in Week 4. He finished 16-of-29 passing for just 180 yards. The Bills fell behind early and Allen couldn’t do much to help his team cut the deficit. Since they were trailing big early, Allen also didn’t run much in the game. He finished with just five carries for 21 yards.
That said, Allen has rushed 7.9 times for 45.8 yards per game over his past eight contests. He’s added nine rushing touchdowns in the process. Before that, he ran just 4.8 times for 21.5 yards per game with one touchdown. At this point in the season, Allen is putting the Bills on his back. And I think he’ll look to take off early and often if the Ravens are having success slowing down Buffalo’s passing attack.
