Rookie signal-caller Tua Tagovailoa will make his first NFL start on Sunday when the Dolphins host the Rams at 1:00 p.m. ET. Will Miami cover as a 3.5-point home dog or will the kid struggle against Aaron Donald and Co.?

Tyler Higbee (hand) is questionable for Week 8 against the Dolphins. “He’s participated,” coach Sean McVay said about Higbee’s status in practice. “I’d say limited in terms of – he took part in everything that we did practice wise today, but it’s a limited practice anyways on a Friday.” It sounds like Higbee is trending towards being active, but that hasn’t mattered in the past; he’s still averaging the 16th-most fantasy points per game at his position as a non-factor. Gerald Everett’s status as a fringe starter boils down to Higbee’s availability on Sunday.

DeVante Parker (groin) remained “limited” on Thursday. We haven’t seen any indication this is serious, but it is a new ailment for Parker coming off the Dolphins’ bye week. That’s never something you like to see, especially since Parker has already been playing at less than 100 percent. Parker is shaping up as a boom/bust WR3 for Week 8 against Jalen Ramsey and the Rams as Tua Tagovailoa makes his first NFL start.
Rams vs. Dolphins Betting Prediction
The under is 4-0 in the Rams’ last four games overall, is 6-1 in their last seven games as a road favorite and is 14-3 in their last 17 games as a favorite of any kind. On the other side, the under is 7-3 in the Dolphins’ last 10 home games versus a team with a winning road record and is 17-7 in their last 24 games coming off a win of more than 14 points.
