Raiders vs. Broncos Free Pick
AFC West rivals square off in Denver this Sunday when the Broncos host the Raiders at 4:15PM ET. Read on to check out our free pick of this game, as well as get the latest odds.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Broncos 8.5-point favorites over the Raiders in Week 7. The over/under total for this game is currently 42.5 points.
Let’s get to our free pick.
The Raiders are 2-4 on the year, which includes a dismal 0-3 mark on the road. They have covered in half of those six games, however, including two-of-three on the road.
The Broncos are 2-4 and have failed to cover in four of those six games. They’re also 1-2 at home this season, which includes an ATS record of 1-2. They were at home last week against the Jets and failed to cover as a 3.5-point underdog (although they did hold a late lead in that contest).
Our Pick:
The Raiders are 4-0 against the number in their last four meetings with the Broncos in Denver, but their quarterback situation is a mess right now. Bruce Gradkowski (shoulder) isn’t expected to play and Jason Campbell (knee) wouldn’t be too effective if he did play. If Kyle Boller starts, that could mean trouble for Oakland.
Lay the points with the Broncos, who are our pick for this game. Denver is 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 games in Week 7 and has played much better than its record would indicate. Knowshon Moreno has been bothered by a hamstring injury, but he should play more than he did last week against the Jets. That only helps the Broncos’ chances of running away with things this Sunday.
