Carroll frustrated by Hawks’ offense

SEATTLE, WA (The Spread) – Things haven’t clicked for the Seahawks’ offense in preseason and coach Pete Carroll admits that there’s some frustration over the lack of continuity.

“We’re all a little bit frustrated with it,” Carroll said, via The Seattle Times. “I’m a little bit frustrated by it. But I’m not worried about it over the long haul.”

In six possessions on Saturday in their 16-15 win over the Chargers, the Seahawks’ first-team offense compiled 137 yards with eight first downs and three three-and-outs. That said, Marshawn Lynch has been limited in preseason so there’s no reason for Carroll to be concerned at this point.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Seahawks are 3.5-point road favorites over the Rams for Week 1 of the regular season. The total currently sits at 42.5 points for what should be a low-scoring game in St. Louis. (It’s not as though the Rams’ offense has looked any better in preseason, with the starters generating 10 points in three games.)
