Patriots vs. Bills Week 8 Prediction
The Patriots have owned the Bills over the years but that’s when they’ve had Tom Brady under center. Now that Cam Newton and the offense has struggled over the past few weeks, should bettors fade New England today in Buffalo at 1:00 p.m. ET?

New England Patriots DFS Spin
Patriots CB Stephon Gilmore (knee) has been ruled for Week 8 against the Bills. The Patriots were already down their top receiver in Julian Edelman, and now will be without their top defensive player. Despite Josh Allen’s history against the Patriots, Stefon Diggs was already locked into your lineups. Now? Start him with full confidence. It is unlikely the Patriots ask J.C. Jackson, who was also on the injury report this week, to shadow Diggs or John Brown.
Buffalo Bills DFS Spin
Bills S Micah Hyde (groin) is questionable for Week 8 against the Patriots. Bills also have DT Vernon Butler, DE Jerry Hughes, LB Matt Milano and DT Quinton Jefferson listed questionable for Sunday. Josh Norman (hamstring) was also ruled out. Hyde’s and Butler’s statuses are the most concerning since both failed to practice on Friday. Newton would obviously have a higher floor if any/all were unable to go Sunday.
Patriots vs. Bills Betting Prediction
The Patriots are 13-3 against the spread in their last 16 trips to Buffalo while the road team is 20-8-2 against the number in the last 30 meetings in this series. The Patriots are also 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games as an underdog, are 6-2 against the number in their last eight games following a double-digit loss at home and are 32-11 at the betting window in their last 43 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game. On the other side, the Bills are 0-4-1 against the spread in their last five games after accumulating more than 350 total yards in their previous game and have failed to cover in four of their last five conference games.
