LeGarette Blount Prop Odds
FOXBOROUGH, MA (The Spread) – LeGarette Blount is a bit of a hot-and-cold option for the Patriots in the backfield. Will he get hot in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game?
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Blount has been given over/under odds of 45.5 rushing yards for the game. His total for carries has been set at 10, while his odds of scoring a touchdown has been set at +120. The Patriots will host the Colts in Sunday’s AFC Championship at 6:40PM ET on CBS.
Blount joined the Patriots midway through the season. He rushed for 281 yards on 60 carries with three touchdowns. He had rushed for 266 yards on 65 carries with two scores for the Steelers before being released. Blount had just three carries for 1 yard in last week’s win over the Ravens, which were both lows in his six games with the Patriots. Blount faced the Colts as a member of the Steelers on Oct. 26 and rushed for 21 yards on six carries while catching a touchdown pass.
Blount has had at least 46 rushing yards in five different games this year and he has had 10 carries or more in six games, four of which were with the Patriots. Blount has also scored a touchdown in five different games. Blount and the Pats are going up against a below-average rushing defense, as the Colts are 18th in the NFL, allowing 113.4 rushing yards per contest this season.
