Carolina Panthers DFS Spin
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports there is “some optimism” that Bryce Young (ankle) is able to play in Week 4 against the Vikings. Rapoport said Young is dealing with a 1-2 week injury, which means he could play in Week 4 if he comes in on the lower side of the projection. On the other hand, the Panthers don’t need to rush their rookie quarterback back to action, so they could hold him out as a precaution. Andy Dalton will start in Week 3 versus the Seahawks but is off the fantasy radar outside of Superflex leagues.
Seattle Seahawks DFS Spin
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports DK Metcalf (ribs) is expected to play in Week 3 against the Panthers. Pete Carroll said on Friday that Metcalf was on track to start, so Schefter’s news isn’t much of a surprise. Metcalf was held out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday before getting in a full session to close the week. He remains at the top of the WR2 rankings in Week 3 against the Panthers.

Why is this line moving? The Seahawks opened as 6-point home favorites but are now 4.5-point faves. Seattle’s defense isn’t impressive, but Dalton will have trouble moving the ball today. If the Panthers can get their ground game moving, then they’ll keep this game close. That said, I don’t see that happening.
