Packers at Browns Pick

The Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns square off at 1:00PM ET on Sunday in a non-conference game at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Bet NFL Week 7

The Packers defeated the Lions 26-0 as a 14-point favorite in Week 6 last Sunday. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 358 yards with two touchdowns and an interception, while Donald Driver caught seven passes for 107 yards in the victory.

The Browns were defeated 27-14 in Pittsburgh last Sunday, as Derek Anderson threw for just 122 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Rookie receiver Mohamed Massaquoi caught five passes for 83 yards as the Browns covered as 14-point underdogs.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have made the Packers 9-point road favorites over the Browns on Sunday. The over/under total for this game has been set at 41 points.

The Packers’ 26-0 win over the Lions last week was a bit misleading. If Detroit had anything resembling an offense, the game would have been much closer because the Lions had opportunities. So don’t be fooled – it was largely a false cover for the Packers, which directly affects the point spread this week.

Green Bay is a heavy road favorite against an unfamiliar foe in a nasty environment. Cleveland is not a good football team, but it has played competitive at times and shouldn’t get blown out at home.

One thing the Browns have done better this year than in years past is drum up a pass rush. The Packers have had issues all season protecting Rodgers and we think Cleveland’s defense will cause some issues for Green Bay’s struggling offensive line.

Our NFL Week 7 Free Pick for this matchup is: CLEVELAND BROWNS +9 and UNDER 41.
