Titans vs. Texans Prediction
Are the Texans a safe play for bettors when they host the Titans today at 1:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Texans are 4.5-point home favorites versus the Titans after opening as a 6.5-point favorite. The reason for the line move was J.J. Watt’s season-ending back injury. That shows you how much Watt means to the Texans when a two-point drop occurs for a non-quarterback injury. That’s massive.

OUR PREDICTION: The Titans have been a horrible play in this series before, going just 1-4-1 against the spread in their last six games in Houston and 0-5 against the number in their last five games overall versus the Texans. Even without Watt, Houston has more than enough on defense to slow Marcus Mariota and Co. The key is Brock Osweiler halting the turnovers that have plagued the Texans’ offense to date.
