NFL Week 11 Injury Report: Fournette questionable, Rivers probable 11/19/17

NFL Week 11 Injury Report

As always, there are some big names on the NFL Injury Report heading into this weekend. Here is a closer look at who may be in and who may be out today.

The Jacksonville Jaguars could find themselves without Leonard Fournette for the second time this season. He was suspended in the first instance, but today Fournette could be out today due to an ankle injury. Fournette was limited all week and then actually sat out Friday’s practice, making his availability even more in doubt. Jacksonville is on the road today to face the Cleveland Browns at 1PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Jaguars listed as a 7.5-point favorite on the road against Cleveland as they look to stay atop the AFC South. Fournette has definitely been a big asset for the Jags this season, rushing for 629 yards and six touchdowns while catching 17 passes for 149 yards and a score. Chris Ivory would see an increase in action if he is unable to go. Ivory has 280 yards on 78 carries.

Another big name that is on the injury list is Philip Rivers. The Chargers QB doesn’t find himself in position of missing games often, but is dealing with a concussion. Rivers cleared concussion protocol on Friday, but missed most of the practice week and is officially listed as probable to play. The Chargers are hosting the Buffalo Bills today at 4:05PM ET. Oddsmakers currently list the Chargers as a 5.5-point favorite against the Bills. Rivers has thrown for 2,263 yards and 15 touchdowns this season to go with seven interceptions. Should Rivers not be able to play, Kellen Clemens would see his first action since playing in mop-up duty against the Jags on Sept. 18.

One big injury on the defensive side of the ball is Sean Lee of the Dallas Cowboys. The captain of the defense is out until mid-December after suffering a hamstring injury last week against the Falcons. Dallas is already without Ezekiel Elliott due to his 6-game suspension as they get set to host the Philadelphia Eagles tonight in Sunday Night Football at 8:30PM ET? Oddsmakers are listing the Cowboys as a 5.5-point underdog at home against the NFL’s top team. Lee has racked up 52 tackles this season, which ranks second on the team. He also has a team-high seven tackles for loss.
