Saints vs. Redskins Odds
The 10th week of the NFL Season gets underway tonight when the New York Jets host the Buffalo Bills at 8:25PM ET on the NFL Network.
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie, New Orleans is the slimmest favorite on the road, as the Saints are getting odds of -1 points against the Redskins. The over/under total for the game has been set at 50 points. Washington has actually won and covered the spread in four straight against the Saints. These two have hit the over in seven of their last eight meetings.
New Orleans is 4-5 on the season, 4-4-1 against the spread and 5-3-1 with the over. The Saints had a three-game win streak snapped last week with a 34-28 OT loss to the Titans at home. The Saints rank sixth in the NFL in scoring at 26.8 points per game and they are also leading the league in total offense at 421.7 yards per game. The defense ranks 31st in scoring (29.8 ppg) and in total defense (414.8 ypg). Drew Brees has thrown for 2,763 yards and 18 touchdowns this year while Mark Ingram has run for 584 yards and five touchdowns. Brandin Cooks is the leading receiver with 45 catches for 603 yards and four scores. The defense is led by Cameron Jordan, who has 22 tackles with six sacks.
Washington is 3-5 overall, 3-5 against the spread and 5-3 with the under. Washington is coming off a 27-10 loss at New England last week. Washington has lost three of its last four games. The Skins are averaging 19.8 points and 329 yards per game this season on offense while the defense is allowing 24.4 points and 372.9 yards per contest. Kirk Cousins has thrown for 1,954 yards and 10 touchdowns with nine interceptions. Alfred Morris is the leading rusher with 312 yards. The Washington defense is led by Bashaud Breeland, who has 34 tackles with two interceptions.
