49ers vs. Seahawks Odds
The Seattle Seahawks look to complete a season sweep of their rival, the San Francisco 49ers, when the two meet today at 4:25PM ET on FOX.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Seattle is the clear favorite at home today, as the Seahawks are getting odds of -13.5 points against the 49ers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 40 points. Seattle has won four straight in this series, including a 20-3 win in San Fran back on Oct. 22. The Seahawks are 7-0-1 against the spread in the last eight of this series and these two have hit the under in six straight.
Seattle is 4-5 on the season, 2-6-1 against the spread and 5-4 with the under. The Seahawks are coming off a 39-32 loss to the Cardinals at home last week, snapping a two-game win streak. Seattle is averaging 22.1 points and 352 yards per game on offense, while the defense is allowing just 19.9 points and 303.3 yards per game. Russell Wilson has thrown for 2,118 yards and 10 touchdowns this year while running for 355 yards. Marshawn Lynch has added 417 rushing yards while battling some injuries. The defense is led by Michael Bennett, who has 33 tackles with 6.5 sacks.
San Francisco is 3-6 on the year, 4-5 against the spread and 5-4 with the under. The 49ers are coming off a 17-16 win over the Falcons prior to their bye week last week. The team ranks last in the NFL in scoring (14 ppg) and total offense (286.2 ypg). The offense is now led by Blaine Gabbert, as Colin Kaepernick was placed on IR for an injured shoulder. Gabbert threw for 185 yards and two touchdowns in his start against the Falcons. Torrey Smith is leading the offense with 18 catches for 386 yards and two touchdowns. The 49ers’ defense is allowing 24.8 points and 392.4 yards per game this season. The unit is led by Aaron Lynch, who has 26 tackles and six sacks.
