ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is reporting that Manning has informed the Broncos that he is “physically and mentally prepared” to play football” at a significant level” in 2015. The two sides met on Thursday in Denver and Manning is expected to make a more concrete decision on his future this upcoming week.

Manning threw for 4,727 yards with 39 touchdowns and 15 interceptions last season with Denver, but his struggles down the stretch led some to believe that he could retire this offseason. But even at 39 years old (in March), Manning is still playing at a high level and the Broncos remain a contender with him under center.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Broncos are 14/1 to win the 2016 Super Bowl and 6/1 to win the AFC Conference Championship next season.
