Bet Tonight’s Vikings vs. Bears Game
The Vikings have won three straight games against the Bears but haven’t won four consecutive games versus Chicago since 1997-1998. The Vikings have also lost five consecutive Monday Night Football road games, with their last victory coming in Week 5 of 2008 in New Orleans. That said, Minnesota is 7-1 in its last eight divisional games.
The Bears enter play with a 1-6 record and according to ESPN.com, they’ve only dropped to 1-7 twice since 1978: 1997 and 2000. They’re also just 3-11 in divisional games since 2014 and are 29-37 all-time on Monday Night Football. They also haven’t won two home divisional games since 2012, but will be looking to do so tonight after beating the Lions at home in Week 4.

OUR PREDICTION: Tonight will mark the return of Jay Cutler under center for the Bears. Reports out of Chicago this week indicate that had Brian Hoyer not fractured his forearm in last Thursday night’s loss to the Packers that he would have remained the starter. Nevertheless, at one point Cutler would have meant more offense for the Bears. But that’s no longer the case. With guard Kyle Long (triceps) doubtful for tonight and Josh Sitton playing banged up, Chicago’s offensive line won’t be able to protect Cutler from Minnesota’s fierce pass rush. With the Vikings also limited on offense, look for this game to be an ugly defensive struggle for four quarters.
