Jets vs. Chiefs Week 8 Prediction
There’s little doubt that the Chiefs will improve their record 7-1 on the season with a win over the Jets on Sunday but is 20 points too much to lay on the home favorite today? Or is there a better bet on the board?

New York Jets DFS Spin
Frank Gore (hand) is questionable for Week 8 against the Chiefs. Gore was limited on Wednesday, downgraded to DNP on Thursday, and limited again for Friday. Gore’s absence on Sunday would obviously entrench La’Mical Perine into a bell-cow role after the rookie played a season-high 40 snaps in Week 7. Note that OC Dowell Loggains will continue to call plays in Week 8 against Kansas City.
Kansas City Chiefs DFS Spin
Sammy Watkins (hamstring) won’t play for Week 8 against the Jets. The Chiefs aren’t in a hurry to rush Watkins back for a game they’re favored by -19 points in. Demarcus Robinson remains on fantasy radars as a low-end WR3 for one more week since he’s been used as the team’s No. 2 wideout across from Tyreek Hill sans Watkins. Mecole Hardman is merely a WR5 flier ahead of Byron Pringle.
Jets vs. Chiefs Betting Prediction
I’m not touching the spread in this game and even though Sam Darnold and the Jets offense has been putrid this season, I feel good about taking the over with Patrick Mahomes and Co. on the other side. The over has cashed in five of the Chiefs’ last seven home games is 6-2 in Kansas City’s last eight games when playing on grass and is 3-1-1 in their last games in Week 8. On the other side, the over is 4-1 in the Jets’ last five games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
