Colts’ 2015 NFL Regular Season Odds
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (The Spread) – The Colts had a busy offseason, adding several veterans that the front office hopes will get the team over the hump.
The Colts brought back linebacker Jerrell Freeman, quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and safety Mike Adams while adding Andre Johnson, Frank Gore, Dwight Lowery, Kendall Langford, Nate Irving, Trent Cole and Vincent Brown this offseason.
The additions of Gore, Johnson and first-round pick Phillip Dorsett of Miami show that GM Ryan Grigson is committed to adding around franchise signal-caller Andrew Luck. But if these offseason moves don’t pay off then Grigson will certainty face heat for not adding more to the offensive line and defense.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Colts’ over/under has been set at 11 for the number of wins in the regular season. They’re also 8/1 to win the 2016 Super Bowl and 15/4 to win the AFC Conference championship.
The total of 11 is high but the AFC South remains one of the weaker divisions in the league and Luck gives the Colts a chance to win each and every Sunday with his outstanding play.
