Drew Brees Prop Odds
Drew Brees figures to make quite an impact in Super Bowl XLIV, when the New Orleans Saints take on the Indianapolis Colts at 6:30PM ET.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have complied tons of individual player prop odds on Brees, which can be seen listed below. As for the game, oddsmakers currently list the Colts as a 4.5-point favorite over the Saints on Sunday, while the over/under total is currently resting at 56.5 points.
Brees was phenomenal this season for the Saints, racking up 363 completions on 514 attempts, 4,388 passing yards and 34 touchdowns. He completed over 70% of his passes, threw only 11 interceptions and averaged 8.54 yards per pass completion, which is outstanding.
Thus far in the postseason, Brees has combined to throw for 444 yards on 40-of-63 passing and six touchdowns. He’s also yet to throw an interception and has an average QB rating of 115.95.
Some of the more compelling prop odds on Brees for Super Bowl XLIV are his MVP odds (+300 on the money line), the over/under total for passing yards (285.5) and over/under for total touchdown passes thrown (1.5). Considering he’s averaging three touchdown passes a game in the postseason, a wager on the “over” for total number of TDs might be a solid bet, as is his MVP odds at +300. He’s only averaging 222.0 passing yards per game, so the “under” 285.5 is tempting, but would anyone be surprised if he threw for 300 yards on Sunday? We wouldn’t.
