Dallas Cowboys DFS Spin
Andy Dalton (concussion) was downgraded to out for Week 8 against the Eagles. Ben DiNucci will serve as the starter with Garrett Gilbert as backup. Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb have served as top-12 options on your roster at points this season, but at best should be considered WR 2/3 options. There is even trickle down to Ezekiel Elliott, who could see a larger receiving role on check downs but will have the odds stacked against him as a runner. Consider streaming the Eagles’ defense.
Philadelphia Eagles DFS Spin
Eagles activated TE Dallas Goedert (ankle) from injured reserve. Goedert opened the week on the wrong side of questionable but showed enough in practice to get cleared. It’s an upgrade for Carson Wentz, though Miles Sanders, DeSean Jackson, and Zach Ertz all remain out. The Eagles will get Goedert and Jalen Reagor (thumb) back for Sunday night’s matchup with Dallas.
Cowboys vs. Eagles Betting Prediction
The under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings between these two teams and is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Philly. The Cowboys couldn’t move the ball a week ago in Washington and now that they’re down to their third-string quarterback (a rookie seventh-rounder, no less), I don’t see how Dallas does much scoring tonight. The under is also 16-7 in the Cowboys’ last 23 games as a road underdog, is 5-0 in the Eagles’ last five games played in November and is 6-1 in their last seven games when they’re favored at home. The under is also 8-3 in the Eagles’ last 11 games when playing a team with a losing record and has cashed in 19 of their last 26 home games.
