2018 NFC Conference Title Odds
The Falcons may be the defending NFC champions but it’s the Cowboys that are favored to win the title in 2018.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cowboys are currently 5/1 to win the NFC championship in 2018. The defending champion Falcons have the next best odds at 6/1 while the Packers have the third-best odds at 13/2. The Seahawks, meanwhile, are 7/1 to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl next season.
Continuing with the current odds, the Giants, Panthers and Vikings are all 12/1, respectively, to win the NFC conference championship in 2018, while the Cardinals are 15/1 to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl next year. The Buccaneers are 20/1, the Eagles and Redskins are 25/1, respectively, while the Lions and Saints are 35/1, respectively.
The three long shots to win the NFC conference championship in 2018 are the Bears at 60/1, the Rams at 75/1, and the 49ers at 150/1. Los Angeles and San Francisco will have new coaches for next season, while Chicago could be transitioning away from quarterback Jay Cutler, who isn’t a guarantee to be on the Bears’ roster next year.
The Cowboys were the top seed heading into the 2017 NFL Playoffs but were knocked out of the postseason by Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Green Bay then lost in Atlanta in the NFC title game, with the Falcons advancing to play the Patriots in the Super Bowl. There, Atlanta blew the largest lead in Super Bowl history, choking away an opportunity to win its first championship in franchise history.
