NFC East Division Odds to Win
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – The Cowboys won the NFC East last year and are favored to do so once again this upcoming NFL season.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cowboys are 5/4 favorites to win the NFC East Division in 2015, while the Eagles are 9/5 and the Giants are listed at 3/1. The long shots are the Redskins, who are 14/1 to take home the division crown.
It’ll be interesting to see how Dallas copes without running back DeMarco Murray, who was outstanding a year ago in helping the Cowboys reach the playoffs. He signed with the Eagles this offseason and was replaced by Darren McFadden in Dallas, who will compete with Joseph Randle for carries behind Dallas’ outstanding defensive line.
Speaking of the Eagles, they also traded their quarterback Nick Foles to the Rams for oft-injured Sam Bradford. That move raised eyebrows in the media, as did the decision by Chip Kelly to trade running back LeSean McCoy to the Eagles in exchange for linebacker Kiko Alonso. If Kelly doesn’t win in Philly this season, he’ll face plenty of scrutiny for his decision making this past spring.
2015 NFC East Division Odds to Win
Dallas Cowboys 5/4
Philadelphia Eagles 9/5
New York Giants 3/1
Washington Redskins 14/1
