Chiefs vs. Broncos Odds
The Denver Broncos are in desperate need of a win on Sunday when they host the Kansas City Chiefs at 4:05PM ET.
Denver is 2-6 on the season and 1-3 at home while Kansas City is 5-3 on the season and 1-3 on the road. The over has hit in five of the last six games in this series while the Chiefs are 1-8-1 against the spread in their last 10 games as a favorite.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made Kansas City a 1-point favorite on the road against Denver. The over/under has been set at 43.
Opening odds had Kansas City favored by a point and that hasn’t changed during the week. The over/under total opened at 42 and has since added a point to move to 43.
Denver is currently on a four-game losing streak where it has given up at least 24 points in those four games. The offense has been inconsistent, mainly due to a weak running game. Knowshon Moreno is the leading rusher with just 252 yards and two scores. Kyle Orton has thrown for 2,510 yards and 12 touchdowns on the year while Brandon Lloyd has caught 42 passes for 878 yards and four touchdowns. D.J. Williams is leading the defense with 72 tackles and four sacks.
Kansas City is coming off a 23-20 loss at Oakland, which snapped a two-game winning streak. The Chiefs have had four games decided by four points or less this season. Matt Cassel has thrown for 1,412 yards and 12 touchdowns on the season while Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones have combined for just under 1,300 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Derrick Johnson is leading the K.C. defense with 66 tackles while Tamba Hali has eight sacks.
Denver linebacker D.J. Williams is questionable for the game on Sunday due to some off the field issues. Kansas City receiver Dexter McCluster is questionable for Sunday because of an ankle injury.
Just under 13,000 public bets have been placed on this game with the Chiefs getting 75% of the wagers at -1 against the Broncos.
