NFL Week 4, Regular Season
Arizona Cardinals DFS Spin
Kyler Murray completed 23-of-35 passes for 270 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in the Cardinals’ 26-23, Week 3 loss to the Lions, adding five rushes for 29 additional yards and a touchdown. Not the sophomore’s finest hour, though fantasy managers will gladly take it. Murray’s rushing touchdown featured an absolutely ridiculous juke near the goal line, and he’s now found the end zone on the ground in 3-of-3 games. Murray has four total rushing TDs, the kind of thing that locks in QB1 floor regardless of shaky passing performances like this afternoon’s. Relentlessly working his connection with DeAndre Hopkins and finally heating up with Andy Isabella, Murray also continues to make strides as a passer. The Panthers represent a Week 4 smash spot.
Carolina Panthers DFS Spin
Teddy Bridgewater completed 22-of-28 passes for 235 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers’ 21-16 Week 3 win against the Chargers. Bridgewater managed the CMC-less Carolina offense to victory, checking down to Mike Davis nine times. Unless the Panthers are forced into frantic comeback mode, Bridgewater is going to post modest fantasy output this season. We could see Carolina chasing points next week against the Cardinals. Bridgewater will be a sneaky superflex start.
Cardinals vs. Panthers Betting Prediction
The Cardinals are winless against the spread in their last four meetings with the Panthers and are 0-4 against the number in their last four road games versus Carolina as well. The home team, meanwhile, is 6-1 against the spread in the last seven meetings between these two teams while the Panthers are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games after allowing more than 350 total yards in their previous contest. The Cardinals are also just 1-4 against the number in their last five games when favored, including dropping last week’s game to the Lions as a home favorite.
