For C.J. Anderson and his performance at Super Bowl 50, the lucky number appears to be 75. Can he amass this yardage total for the Denver Broncos?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Carolina is currently a 5.5-point favorite for Sunday’s game with the Broncos, while the over/under total for the game has been set at 44 points. These two meet in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday at 6:30PM ET. The game will air live on CBS.
Anderson is a back that can run the ball and also catch it out of the backfield. For Sunday’s game, oddsmakers have listed him odds of -130 to rush for over 50 yards, but he has odds of +225 to run for over 75 yards. His odds to amass 75 rushing+receiving yards is set at +125.
This season, Anderson has rushed for 720 yards and five touchdowns for Denver. Anderson has also added 25 receptions for 183 yards this season. In two playoff games, Anderson has run for 144 yards and a score while catching five passes for 29 yards. Anderson meets up with a strong Carolina defense that is one of the best against the run, but allowed 779 receiving yards to backs this season, which ranked in the bottom half of the NFL. Anderson has rushed for over 50 yards in seven of 18 games this season, including his last four. He has rushed for over 75 yards in just three games. He has totaled over 75 yards rushing+receiving in five games this season.
