Bucs vs. Bears Week 5 Prediction
The 3-1 Bears are a home dog versus Tom Brady and the Bucs for Thursday Night Football. Will Chicago pull off the small upset or at least cover versus Tampa? Or is there a better bet on the board for this 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff?
Game Snapshot

NFL Week 5, Regular Season
Tampa Bay Bucs DFS Spin
Mike Evans (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 5 against Chicago. They also listed Scotty Miller (hip/groin) questionable. Both are expected to play and should see increased targets with the Bucs missing multiple starters on offense. Chris Godwin (hamstring), Justin Watson (chest), LeSean McCoy (ankle) and O.J. Howard (Achilles, IR) are all out for Tampa, and Leonard Fournette (ankle) is doubtful.
Chicago Bears DFS Spin
Nick Foles completed 26-of-42 passes for 249 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Bears’ 19-11, Week 4 loss to the Colts. Foles’ first Bears start was a forgettable one. He didn’t throw a touchdown until there was 1:35 left on the clock, down 19-3, so it was a garbage-time score that went to Allen Robinson from 16 yards out. Foles was inaccurate most of the day against the Colts’ zone scheme. Things won’t be much easier next week when the Bears host the Bucs’ top-notch defense. Foles is a bottom-barrel QB2.
Bucs vs. Bears Week 5 NFL Betting Prediction
The Bucs are a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four games as a road favorite, are 4-1 against the number in their last five road games and are 3-1-2 ATS in their last six games coming off a win. The Bears, meanwhile, are winless at the betting window in their last six games versus a team with a winning record, are 1-8 against the number in their last nine games coming off a loss and are 1-4 against the spread in their last five home games.
