Denver Broncos DFS Spin
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Drew Lock (shoulder) is expected to play Week 6 against the Patriots. Lock could be at less than full healthy. Even if he was fully ready, Lock faces a strong Patriots passing defense without a few of his primary pass catchers. Noah Fant, K.J. Hamler, and Melvin Gordon are all out. Lock is a QB3 until proven otherwise. The Patriots are 10-point favorites.
New England Patriots DFS Spin
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Broncos are being told to prepare as if they will still face the Patriots in Week 6. Schefter adds that “no other contingencies have been discussed at this time.” The league has already bumped this contest once this year, and any further postponement would force the Commissioner’s hand in scheduling a Week 18 prior to the postseason — something the league is avidly attempting to avoid. As it stands, fantasy players should fully expect this game to kick-off despite New England’s ongoing testing after another positive test Friday morning.
Broncos vs. Patriots Betting Prediction
The Broncos are winless in their last five games against the spread when playing the Patriots on the road. They’ve also dropped seven of their last 10 games against the number when playing the Patriots while the home team in this series is 7-2 against the number in the last nine meetings. Meanwhile, the Patriots are 42-16-2 against the spread in their last 60 games played in the month of October, are 49-23-1 against the spread in their last 73 games coming off a loss and are 22-6 at the betting window in their last 28 games when facing a team with a losing record.
