Buffalo Bills DFS Spin
Bills placed TE Dawson Knox on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Blocking TE Lee Smith has been identified as a “close contact” and must quarantine and miss Sunday’s game against the Jets. Practice squad TE Nate Becker must also quarantine, though apparently Tyler Kroft and Reggie Gilliam are still good to go. As has been the case with many of these late-week COVID cases, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports tomorrow’s game between the Jets and Bills remains on. Knox had been nursing a calf injury but was set to play through it. A candidate to take a step forward this season, injuries have helped limit Knox to six receptions in four games.
New York Jets DFS Spin
Jamison Crowder (groin) has been downgraded to doubtful for Week 7 against the Bills. He looks extremely unlikely to play against Buffalo. The only offensive threat in Gang Green’s offense, Crowder’s absence makes the Bills’ D/ST even more attractive as a fantasy defense.
Bills vs. Jets Betting Prediction
The underdog is 8-3 against the spread in the last 11 meetings between these two teams while the Bills are just 1-3-1 at the betting window in their last five road games. Buffalo has also failed to cover in five of its last eight conference games (with one push), is 0-5-1 against the spread in its last six games played in Week 7 and is 1-4 ATS in its last five October matchups. For as bad as the Jets are, they’re 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games versus a team with a winning record and are 7-2-1 against the number in their last 10 home games versus an opponent with a winning road record.
