Are the San Francisco 49ers are a value play for bettors as a home underdog today versus the Baltimore Ravens at 4:25PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the 49ers are 2-point home underdogs versus the Ravens while the total currently sits at 43 points. Baltimore is 1-4 overall and 0-4-1 against the spread, while San Francisco is 1-4 straight up and 2-3 at the betting window.
On paper Baltimore has more talent than San Francisco but the reality is that this game should be a pick’em. The 49ers actually showed signs of life on the road last Sunday night versus the Giants, while the Ravens blew a second half lead in a 33-30 overtime loss to the Browns.
Baltimore is suffering an identity crisis on offense and the defense has been average without Terrell Suggs. The home team is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams and will suggest not bucking that trend.
