Raiders vs. Bears Free Pick
The Oakland Raiders will attempt to reach 3-1 on the season when they visit the Chicago Bears at 1:00PM ET on Sunday.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Bears are 3.5-point home underdogs versus the Raiders while the over/under total is currently sitting at 43.5 points. Oakland is 2-1 on the year and 2-1 against the spread, while Chicago is 0-3 and also winless at the betting window.
Last Sunday in Seattle, the Bears punted the ball on all 10 of their possessions, which is the first time a team has punted on every possession in a game since 1980. The shutout by the Seahawks snapped the Bears’ streak of 194 straight games without getting shut out.
Quarterback Jay Cutler missed that game with a hamstring injury and if Jimmy Clausen starts for a second straight week, the Bears offense will be punchless once again. The under is 4-1 in the Bears’ last five games coming off a loss and 37-18 in the Raiders’ last 55 games played in October.
Even if Derek Carr and the Raiders’ offense continues to play well, it’s unlikely the Bears will contribute enough for the combined score to go over the total.
NFL WEEK 4 FREE PICK: RAIDERS/BEARS UNDER 43.5
