Jaguars vs. Colts Free Pick
AFC South rivals clash in Indianapolis today where Andrew Luck and the Colts will host Blake Bortles and the Jaguars at 1:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Colts are now 9.5-point home favorites over the Jaguars after opening as 8.5-point favorites. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 48 points after it opened at 47.
Despite throwing for two garbage-time touchdowns, Jacksonville quarterback Blake Bortles was terrible a week ago versus the Patriots. He hasn’t found whatever moxie made him play well in the preseason and while Indianapolis’ defense is nothing to write home about, it’s doubtful the Jaguars will suddenly move the ball offensively.
On the other side, Luck and Co. posted 35 points in a win over Tennessee last Sunday but the under is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams in Indianapolis. The under is also 7-1 in the last eight meetings between the Colts and Jaguars overall. There’s also some concern about whether or not Luck (questionable) will even play.
Even if the Colts can score, the Jags aren’t going to contribute enough offensively for bettors to cash in on the over.
