NFC East foes clash in Washington today where the Redskins will host the Eagles at 1:00PM ET in a game that could be surprisingly low-scoring.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Redskins are 3-point home underdogs versus the Eagles while the over/under currently sits at 44 points. Philadelphia enters play with a 1-2 record and is 1-2 against the spread, while Washington is also 1-2 SU and 1-2 ATS.
The total for this game is set too high. The Eagles scored 24 points last week in their win over the Jets but Sam Bradford continues to struggle to get into a rhythm and the Redskins have a quietly underrated defense. On the other side, Kirk Cousins threw for 315 yards last week in a 32-21 loss to the Giants but his final stat line was hollow given how poorly he actually played.
The under is 5-2 in the Eagles’ last seven games coming off a win and 8-1 in the Redskins’ last nine games following an ATS loss. The under is also 6-2 in Washington’s last eight home games and 4-1 in its last five games following a loss.
