Raiders vs. Browns Free Pick
Two teams that won in Week 2 will square off in Week 3 today when the Oakland Raiders visit the Cleveland Browns at 1:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Browns are 3.5-point home favorites over the Raiders after the line opened at 4 for this game. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 42.5 points after it opened at 41.5.
The Raiders looked highly impressive in their victory over the Ravens last Sunday, as Derek Carr threw for 351 yards and three touchdowns in the victory. That said, Oakland is a young team that has battled with consistency over the years. After riding the high of beat the Ravens, they now travel to the Midwest to take on a Browns team that many believe the Raiders should beat. That’s a dangerous situation, just ask the Rams, who beat the Seahawks in Week 1 before being thumped in Washington in Week 2.
There’s an argument to be made that the Browns should have stuck with Johnny Manziel at quarterback, but they sent him back to the bench after Josh McCown (concussion) was cleared to play. Look for McCown to be motivated for this one, and for the Browns to win their second game in as many weeks.
