NFL Week 6 Strongest Public Bets
Who does the public love in Week 6 of the NFL? No surprise, the public is backing Bill Belichick and the Patriots on Sunday night.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Patriots are 10-point road favorites versus the Colts on Sunday Night Football and 86% of public bettors are currently backing New England. Public bettors usually take the Patriots anyway, but there’s extra motivation tonight with the narrative building that Belichick and Tom Brady will seek revenge from last season’s “Deflategate” scandal.
Another big public play on Sunday are the Arizona Cardinals, who are 4.5-point road favorites versus the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1:00PM ET. Speaking of revenge, Bruce Arians’ contract wasn’t renewed by the Steelers following the 2011 season; could Arians look to run up the score against his former team today?
Other large public plays today are the Broncos -3.5 over the Browns (78%) and the Bengals -3 over the Bills (76%). The public also likes the Vikings (71%), who will host the Chiefs as a 3.5-point favorite.
