NFL Week 2 Las Vegas Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – After the underdogs dominated Week 1, which teams are favored in Week 2 of the NFL season? Let’s take a look at Vegas’ odds.
According to oddsmakers from MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, the Ravens are currently 2.5-point favorites over the Steelers when Week 2 kicks off on Thursday night. Baltimore opened as a field goal favorite but the spread has been bet down after Pittsburgh beat Cleveland in its opener and the Ravens fell to the Bengals at home in Week 1.
On Sunday the Panthers are currently a 3-point favorite over visiting Detroit in Vegas, while the Bills are a 1-point home underdog against the Dolphins after Buffalo opened as a 1-point favorite. The Redskins are also 6-point home favorite over the Jaguars while the Titans are 3.5-point home favorites versus the Cowboys and the Giants and Cardinals are a pick’em after Arizona beat San Diego and New York was thumped by Detroit on Monday night.
The Vikings, meanwhile, opened as a 5-point home underdog versus the Patriots in Vegas but are now a 3-point dog after New England lost to Miami and Minnesota crushed St. Louis in Week 1. The Browns are also a 6.5-point home favorite versus the Saints, while the Falcons are a 5-point road dog versus the 1-0 Bengals. The Bucs are a 5-point favorite versus the visiting Rams, while the Seahawks are a 5-point road favorite versus the Chargers and the Raiders are a 3-point home dog versus the Texans.
The rest of the Week 2 lines are as follows: the Packers are 8-point home favorites against the Jets, the Broncos are a 13-point favorite versus the Chiefs, the 49ers are a touchdown favorite over the Bears on “Sunday Night Football” and the Eagles are 3-point road dogs versus the Colts on “Monday Night Football.”
