2014 NFL MVP Odds to Win
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – The odds are out for the 2014 NFL MVP and Peyton Manning has opened as the favorite.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Manning is a 3/1 favorite to win this year’s NFL MVP award. Drew Brees has the next best odds at 11/2, while Aaron Rodgers is 15/2 and Tom Brady is 9/1. Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is a value play at 16/1, while Bears signal-caller Jay Cutler and NFC North rival Matthew Stafford are 20/1, respectively.
Continuing with the odds, a slew of players are 25/1 to win the NFL MVP award in 2014, including Colin Kaepernick, Cam Newton and Russell Wilson. Robert Griffin III, LeSean McCoy, Adrian Peterson and Calvin Johnson are also 25/1, respectively, while Matt Ryan is 33/1. Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is currently 40/1 to bring home the hardware.
Some of the mid-range long shots include Ben Roethlisberger, Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, Tony Romo and Marshawn Lynch, who are all 50/1, respectively, while Demaryius Thomas, Matt Forte, Jamaal Charles, Dez Bryant, Brandon Marshall, Julio Jones and Jimmy Graham are all 66/1, respectively. Joe Flacco, Johnny Manziel, Andy Dalton, Eddie Lacy, Arian Foster and Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski are all 100/1, respectively.
Rounding out the odds, Alex Smith, Alfred Morris and C.J. Spiller are all 150/1, respectively, while DeMarco Murray and Frank Gore have the longest odds to win the NFL MVP at 200/1, respectively.
